Lodi Canning Company, a vegetable canner, is located in Lodi, Wisconsin. We can fresh peas (mid-June through July) and cream style sweet corn (August & September) for the food service industry. Lodi Canning Company is a family-owned business into the third generation of the Goeres family and is the only single-plant, privately owned cannery remaining in Wisconsin.

Our company's niche in the Food Service Industry is our high quality cream style corn. We also process and sell early and sweet peas grown during the first part of the canning season. Our crops are all grown by local farmers and rigorously tested for excellent quality. Our owners personally grade, select, and sell product for each order to ensure high quality service for each of our customers.
Email BobWe offer summer employment in various capacities in the the field and factory during our canning season. Our season begins with canning peas from mid-June through the end of July. We then can cream style corn from August to October. You may apply for one or both packs. You must be at least 16 years old to work in the factory and 18 years old to work in the field. (For field positions, farm or large equipment experience is preferred.
We offer bonus incentives for key poistions as well as scholarship incentives for full-time college students. We accept seasonal applications at our office beginning in March during the hours of 9 - 11 AM and 1 - 4 PM Monday through Friday.

2 partially beaten eggs
1 - 15 ounce can LODI'S IDOL Cream Style Corn
1 - 15 ounce can whole kernel corn
1 cup sour cream
1 box Jiffy corn muffin mix
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 cup green pepper, finely chopped
Ground black pepper, to taste
Jalapeno peppers, chopped (optional)
Grated cheddar cheese
Mix all ingredients together. Pour into a 13"x 9" pan. Sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese. Bake at 325° for 45-60 minutes, until done.
2 Tbsp. scallions, chopped
½ cup sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
¼ cup celery hearts, chopped
1/3 cup mayonnaise
White pepper to taste
Dill weed to taste
1-15 oz. can LODI’S IDOL Fancy Small Early Peas, drained
4 Tbsp. crushed pineapple, drained well
Thoroughly mix scallions, cheese, celery, mayonnaise, pepper & dill.
Gently add peas. Add pineapple last.
Refrigerate.
Please, do not over stir those tender Peas!!
Makes 5 servings.
1/3 cup olive oil
2 lbs. boneless sirloin, chopped into 1/2" cubes
2 cups chopped yellow onion
2 Tbsp. minced garlic
5 fresh jalapeno peppers, seeded & finely chopped
1/3 cup Masa Harina Corn Tortilla Flour
1/2 cup chili powder
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. white pepper
2 tsp. salt
4 cups beef broth
2-15 oz. cans black beans, rinsed and drained
1-15 oz. can Great Northern Beans, rinsed and drained (or similar white beans/pinto beans)
2-15 oz. cans LODI'S IDOL Cream Style Corn
1/3 cup red pepper, seeded and chopped
Garnish: Grated cheddar cheese, chopped red onion and sour cream.
Brown meat in olive oil, drain from oil. In remaining oil saute onion, garlic & jalapeno peppers until onion is translucent. Add tortilla flour and all spices. Cook 5 minutes, then add bean broth & sirloin cubes. Simmer 45 minutes. Stir in beans corn & red pepper. Simmer 15 minutes.
Serve with selections of cheddar cheese, red onion & sour cream for garnish.

1 bunch broccoli (1-1 1/2 lb.) with bottoms of stems trimmed off.
2 cans (15 oz.ea.) LODI'S IDOL Cream Style Corn
1 large egg
1 cup fresh bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/8 tsp. Pepper
Heat oven to 350°
Cut the broccoli florets from the tops of the stems.
Cut florets into bite-sized pieces: set aside.
Cut the stems into 1/4 inch slices. Place the stems in a large steamer and cover tightly. Steam 4 minutes.
Add the florets and steam 4 minutes longer, tossing once, until crisp-tender but stil bright green.
Drain well and pat very dry with paper towels.
Stir together creamed corn, egg, half of the bread crumbs, salt and papper until blended.
Stir in broccoli.
Turn the mixture into a greased baking dish and sprinkle evenly with remaining bread crumbs.
Bake 45 to 60 minutes (until done).
1 can LODI'S IDOL cream style corn
4 white crackers crumbed
1 egg
2 Tablespoons milk
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
Dash of Pepper
Mix together and bake at 350° for 45-60 minutes.
